With Alex's opinion in mind,

Feels like a high school teenager trying to do his homework at the last minute and on top cram everything he learned one day before the finals...very disorganized in my opinion...

So what this amounts to is that no Democrat can voice opposition to an insane tax policy or it will be considered the Democrats' fault that nothing passes through congress? This twisted logic is like a situation where a wife gets beaten by her husband for not doing the dishes, and then a neighbor says the problem is not the husband who is doing the beating, but the wife forgetting the dishes.
My point was the republicans were going to hold out till they got there tax cuts. Then the democrats now are going to hold out because they don't like the deal Obama made with the republicans so its the same old story for the last 4 years in both groups. Without compromise nothing gets done as what is happening now so these politicians are not doing there jobs which is supporting there districts all there worried about is the stupid parties they are part of. People business is not getting done because both these idiot parties don't do the countries business. I am Independent because I don't trust either side.

I understand your frustrations on what is going on in Capitol Hill. But no one said this was going to be an easy lame duck session. I think is great that the dems are filibustering the tax cuts, and politically it might help us. Here is the thing, reps don't want the tax cut to expire, since there is an speculation that next congress is going to be at grid-lock. So by showing them how there would be opposition to some of the compromises they would have next year, reps would psychologically divide in their ranks and demand moderation and compromise on other issues. This is a good thing, since this way we might get the moderate republicans to side with us next week, just in time for the Dream Act vote.

Now the key is finding those republicans frustrated with the blockage of legislation. So lets hope we do a good job.
