If i understand well some of you want tough guidelines for CIR while knowing that we have been in that situation and it's not at all fun but still u want others to live that ordeal too. I really don't understand this.

"be at least 27 years of age": you already eliminated about 2/3 of dreamers with that rule.

- have a USA GED/High school diploma/College diploma OR pass a basic English test designated by USCIS
- standard immigration medical requirements

Regarding securing borders:
- use military forces to aid border patrols on both borders to combat criminals and drug dealers/cartels

note: If the borders become very secure, the overstay of visas will rise significantly, and consequently there will be more restrictions on obtaining a visa to visit the USA.
Agree with most of this, just not the filling age, I think if you have filed taxes or was claim as a dependent for the last five.years you should qualify.

Im not sure about a militarized border, its been tried before with not very good results.

may be add a small fine, between 1000 to 3000 dlrs to make it a bit more passable.

DREAM and CIR will have to be separate. Its gonna be easier to pass DREAM than CIR. Cut off for DREAM is probably gonna be 30 just like DACA.

Yea DREAM Act is gonna be very similar to DACA except we're gonna get conditional green cards. It would be amazing if you got approved for DACA to be automatically approved for DREAM Act hopefully it happens next year

They need to pass the dream act and activate 245i for everyone. That will get things going and will get a lot of current cases and the most important cases fixed. Then CIR can follow and won't be as dramatic of a change because a lot of people would already be legalized by the 2 items above..

Hopefully not. I think there is too many people that were brought here as children that wouldn't qualify. 35 would be a better number. or just being brought as a child and at least 10 years of continuous presence.

That's the only way CIR would pass, with tough guidelines.

There's a difference between Dream Act and CIR.

The Dream Act is for those who were brought here at a young age by their parents. CIR would be mostly for people who came here as adults, like our parents, who have been living here in the U.S. and have been paying taxes. We would need both CIR and Dream Act.

If there isn't a 10 year rule, or something along those lines, there would be a swarm of new illegals coming to the U.S. That's not good.

It wouldn't be fair for someone who came here as an adult, has lived here for 10+ years, has stayed out of trouble and has been paying taxes to have the same pathway to citizenship as someone who just came yesterday. That's stupid.

They should keep it the same requirements for DACA maybe extend the 5yrs to 7yrs. For the people over 31 (most likely parents of US born kids or are parents of DACA beneficiaries, they'll get their green card when their child petitions for them once they get their citizenship.. Reason why I don't think they will give it to everyone is because they're gonna look at it as a way to encourage more illegal immigration.. Regan had an amnesty back in 86 I believe and it benefited 3 million people and he called it the biggest mistake of his presidency, what Obama is proposing is legalizing kids who had no control coming here.. The others been in their country and could get by over there but some of us been here since we were a couple months old and may not even speak our native language
