Got the DACA approval text and email at 7.15pm about 3 hours after the EAD in production tets and emails.

Btw, did you make any service requests? Or ombudsman or taking any other action on your case? And did you already have ssn or prior uscis case...

I made one e request at 6 months and got the most generic email back with no time line just informing me that it was in initial review. I tried another at 7 months but would not let me as I had already received a timely reply to a previous e request. I called at 7 and a half and was read off what you see when you do an on line check. Then they introduced the AUGUST 31ST time line so it was pointless to enquire.
Yes have SSN and an A# from a family green card app which I was denied for aging out. Also have failed F1 apps but denied for being out of lawful status. Also had a breif trip out of country for 9 days to visit family. I think stuff like this just flags us for extra review by a senior officer whose desk is bowing with the amount of weight on it. Easy cases are approved immediatly by inexperienced officers to maintain an acceptable approval and proccessing rate for their bosses. I think it is a numbers game.

They received my documents on 10/05/2012
I did my biometrics on 10/16/2012
So basically I had hit the 6 month mark and called the USCIS office on wednesday (5/8/2013), only to hear that I just had to wait, she didnt put in a request or anything. The same day I signed up to get text notifications and email notifications.
Yesterday (5/9/2013) at 7:15pm I received my first text from them telling me that my case had been updated, they provided the link to check the status and I went right away to check just to find that it was still in initial review. I checked my email 3 hours later to find that I had received an email from USCIS telling me that Card/Documents are in production. This morning I received another text and another email telling me the same things but on the USCIS the status of my case still shows initial review.

I think its probably that the USCIS website its a little behind, or they dont update as fast.

Anyway, Im super happy to report that soon I will get my documents

I forget to mention that I find it strange that I have not received an email or text that says that I have been approved, the email said my i765 application for employment authorization was ordered and its in production. Does that make a difference?
