He's not missing much, red meat is nasty and not good for you in excess.

I'm sure angeleno is healthy, leave him be.

There is nothing wrong with a vegetarian diet. Red meat is disgusting. Go read Fast Food Nation!

Thanks guys -- totally agree with you. I rather eat tofu.

Also, I've never been told by my GP to eat meat or anything. I did have an iron deficiency before, but I took care of that by eating dried fruit.

This is what I look like, except my hipbones are more protruded.

PS: Nice to see you finally posting emmjay, and that book is really good. I like the part where he goes to the flavor lab.

haha. I think it's so funny that this thread begins talking about some idiot with a DUI and ends talking about meat, vegeterians, and a picture of a thin guy.

Anyway, I think that guy is dumb for drinking and driving.. I know I've had time when I've been dumb (and drunk) enough to get in (or be carried into) a car that a drunk person was driving.. but drive? No way.

At first, I thought.. well, sometimes you're so drunk you don't realize what you're doing.. but still, I know remember being asked by others to drive, but I refused.

I am also pissed that he brought in the Dream Act into his pathetic battle to stay. We DO NOT need the negative exposure. What a dumbass.

I'm on the fence.

Here's why I feel sorry for him:
If any other 21 year old American Citizen got a DUI, they would be punished of course. Even if they didn't have a license, their punishment wouldn't be something atrocious.

Here's why I don't feel sorry for him:
He knows how high the stakes are. He knows we need to abide the by the law the best we can. He knew that we're always at any given moment hanging by a thread but he went on and risked his future anyway.
