I do agree it may have been very well written. I was just pointing out I wasn't the only lazy one when it comes to reading big documents.

Meant no harm.

Besides, when women pay thousands of dollars for boobies like mine, you bet I'm going to take pictures. The human body is a beautiful thing. It's the stuff of songs, paintings, sculptures, etc. I want a memento of what I used to look like once I'm a cougar. In any case, any pictures I sent will be rendered obsolete by this weekend. I'm definitely heading to a tattoo/piercing parlor and I'm just not sure in what way I want to modify myself.

PS. Thanks for the red rep. I was getting sick of all that green. I don't need help, I need less homework and more nap time.

Really? It sure seems like you want to rub it other's faces. All you do is talk about how intelligent, educated, attractive, and above everyone else you are. If you have better things to do, then prove it, not to me, not to DAP, but to yourself. You spend too much time here belittling others and trying to show off your success. It's great that some of us have been able to overcome the hardships that we face and have succeeded. Nothing brings me more joy than to read about someone who was able to get into a certain school, pay tuiton, or find a job. The one thing that bothers me about you is that you never fail to boast about your achievements and say things like "I hit the genetic jackpot". It doesn't matter if that argument was made against juang. It is very clear, you are arrogant and self absorbed when you say something like that. The worst part is that you have not only made such arguments when insulting juang. You compliment yourself and build yourself up every chance you get. There's nothing wrong with doing that, as long as it is not expressed to others.
You are one of the only on the forum that mentions their success endlessly. I'm 100% sure that there are many members who have received numerous scholarships, graduated from college, and even have mulitiple degrees. I don't ever see anyone mentioning or bragging about it constantly. In fact, they only talk about it when someone asks about it.
Also, what about the fact that you constantly call yourself beautiful, pretty, or attractive? There is absolutely no need for you to keep feeding you ego about your looks as well, is there? It just seems as if you are fishing for compliments every time you post a picture or talk about your boobs. I don't think you realize how conceited you are. You have an excuse for everything that you do or say. Some are too threatened by your attacks. I am not. I'm probably wasting my time posting this, but I figured I would be the one to say what a lot of people have been thinking. Maybe they just nicer than I am, so they keep it to themselves. However, I cannot bear to read another one of your posts, without informing you of how you come across.
Stop trying to get people to pity you. My mom has chronic illnesses as well. She's survived breast cancer twice, had a stroke, had a mastectomy, an oophorectomy, a cholycyctectomy, AND currently she suffers from diabetes, diverticulitis, a damaged liver, GERD, depression, and anxiety.. She just turned 44 this year. So PLEASE don't use your mom's health as an excuse for your egotism.
I appreciate that you didn't try to attack me. How very mature of you. However, you are not fooling anybody. Everyone is aware of the rude remarks and attacks you have made in past posts.
I am not jealous of you by any means. Good for you that you have been able to move foward. I simply cannot stand the fact that you are soo full of yourself and constantly belittle other members with your snooty posts.
Many of us will end up with degrees that will be of no use in Mexico or any other country. Still, that does not justify you statement about how Mexico will not cut it for a person like you. If you are soo proud of your heritage, your country, and your culture, you hide it well. Most of us would have a hard time fitting in both in the US and our birth country. You are not special. Sorry.

Oh, and nobody disagrees that the human body is a beautiful thing. But I must mention that it is quite distasteful to get undressed for anyone that calls you "hot". Some might even call it slutty.

Fish-- As I mentioned before, there is nothing wrong with being confident. The problem is that she cannot figure out a way to contain her evergrowing ego.

See stevieola, I can write an effin essay of a post, too. Hahaha.

You should read. It's pretty thoughtful and interesting. Unlike the usual Hippie posts we see.

Someone like me is someone who is studying something that isn't going to transfer so easily outside of the US. I study US accounting principles and US tax code because I want to work in the US financial markets. What does that have to do with Mexico? Not much. I do have a double major in Spanish, but that can only take me so far in Mexico when all my classes are taught by teachers from Spain or Puerto Rico and Cuba. Someone like me is someone who would be an outcast in my "home" country because I've become so Americanized. There's no way that I'd fit in anymore. Not in a million years. Nothing good can come out of dropping an atheist in such a Catholic country. Never mind the culture. I'll never be Mexican enough for the Mexicans just like I'm not American enough for the Americans. [...]
Dreamerhippie, you don’t have to explain yourself. We all aim for different things in life and gauge success commensurately. But personal philosophies aside, it is my understanding that in a capitalist society you aim higher, and not the other way around (which almost seems counterintuitive); thus feeling ‘superior’ is only secondary to our sociopolitical structure as a nation.

I don’t recall ever telling you this before —since my self-importance often undermines my ability to praise those very few people I admire— but no matter where life takes you, I know your dedication and hard work will have paved the way for a very successful existence.

You see, in my line of work I’ve met women who are remarkably shrewd and assertive (often referred to as ‘bitches’), superlative to a degree where it seems like they were born to be in the business, and powerful enough that the mere right to put their name under ‘executive producer’ at the end credits confers on them millions of dollars, and yet I’ve never met someone as exceptional as you.

In other words, you seem to have the whole package: you’re brilliant, beautiful, and incredibly well-suited, and if I were straight, I’d be all over that booty... but I digress, my point is that: if you have it, flaunt it—no apologies, no regrets.

XOXO

PS: Can I ask you a huge favor? When I'm on my deathbed gasping for my last breath of not-so-fresh air, I want to have my very own biography written by you perched gracefully on my favorite chaise. Your writing is orgasmic.

There's a difference between arrogance and confidence. It's difficult to have one without the other, and what people have trouble with is finding a balance between the two. Arrogance stems from pride, which is measured in comparison to exterior elements. Over-arrogance is usually a sign of a constant need for affirmation and a low self-image, and is accomplished by putting others down by seeing them as inferior. On the other hand, confidence stems from self-worth and doesn't need the gauging of somebody else's "worth" in order to accomplish it. What you are emitting in this thread and, from the looks of it, in this forum is over-arrogance when you say things like, "I endeavor to be respected by people who matter...Please note I didn't mention anyone in DAP." There's a guy on DAP who is currently earning his PhD in, I think, Mathematics. He doesn't put people down or boast about how great he thinks he is. However, I'm almost certain that he has a lot of confidence. And I could say the same for many others here. You said, "The only person I compete with is myself...I pity people who compare themselves to others." And this made me laugh because it's explaining what arrogance is while being an example of arrogance.

Being seen with respect isn't something anybody can actively strive to gain. It's a quality that can only be gained indirectly through your actions. Respect is something that is subjective to each individual, which further makes it impossible to "strive" to gain it. That being said, you also can't ever directly control who you're respected by. If you were to try to actively show yourself in a positive light only to those of your family, future employers, and professors, but could care less about how you treat everybody else, you'll most likely be seen as two-faced and insincere, which aren't qualities that garner respect. People can be both liked and respected. Usually, those who are liked are more readily respected. It tends to be difficult to respect someone that you don't like. Furthermore, you never know who is going to "matter". So, it's best to treat everybody with the same courtesy. You can be honest and blunt while being respectful, courteous, and a well-liked human being.

As for these supposed nude photos that I have never seen nor heard of until this thread:
In this day and age, anything you put out to be viewed by the public (especially anything that is digital and contains nudity) will always and forever exist. Amateur, self-taken photographs of yourself half-nude is not the same as nudity in art. There could come a day when you regret your decision to be photographed and/or caught on a web-cam half-nude. But, what's done is done.

I advise that you try to better find the balance between arrogance and confidence.

Can we get back to the original topic now? I don't want this thread to be locked.
will you marry me?

And to the original topic: I'd give Mexico a try. If that didn't work out, Canada or Europe.

Renzo, as far as I know you don't necessarily have to go to Italy. You can live legally in other European countries as well.
