I've been on unpaid leave since 9/29. Spoke to a t2 and they told me the same damn thing. That I need to wait till 30 days and that my card is still in production. Do they not understand that some of us are on unpaid leave and need to work to pay our bills. I live in New York so things ain't cheap out here. This waiting period is driving me crazy. It's like so close and yet so far.

The worst part is that after the 30 days they'll tell you to wait another 15 days for a response. Unreal

Edit: Also in NY. In the words of :

Lol my fellow new yorker. Ive been on unpaid leave since 08/17 then i lost my job. I have a pending job offer but i might lose that too in a week if i dont get my ead.
Its not cheap living in NY and uscis doesnt understand that
All they do is put us on ead card production and go back to sleep or reading newspapers probably, lazy uscis ppl -___-

I waited 30 days since approval on 09/08/16 and they sent my ead back in production on monday 10/10/16 -___-

Oh wow that's crazy. Did they tell why your card is taking so long? I mean there are people with the same time line as me who received their cards already. This is just ridiculous. I don't know how you doing it but hang in there. I'll be praying for all of us.

There were some of us on this thread who were approved early sept around 09/08/16 that went into production around sept 12 but according uscis there was a card production failure. So our eads were delayed. This monday uscis decided to put our eads in production again which is odd. Most of the people with similar timelines go thier eads but we were stuck in some ead production issue
