I received this email 10 minutes ago today:

"Good afternoon Mr. ****.

I have been in contact with our Nebraska Service Center regarding your DACA case. According to NSC, they are currently processing DACA renewal cases with receipt dates on or before February 4, 2016. Your receipt date is March 2016. . If you do not receive a response from the Nebraska Service Center within 30 days from the date of this email, please contact me back at the above email address.

Respectfully,
Special Cases Unit
ab"

Yet again, inquiring about application status has gone nowhere...the wait continues.

whats your timeline?

Information seems to flow in the path of least resistance. It seems like officers are just throwing around the 6-month timeframe or just reciting what's online, which technically reflect processing times as of May 31, 2016. Perhaps this is done just to get people off their backs. There does not appear to be any significant customer service beyond simply telling people what they already know and what's reflected online.
I actually almost had an argument with a representative about it. It turns out that the date you need to look at is the "last updated." I called because the way I read it was "as of May 31st they were on feb 4 and this information was updated on July 15." So by that logic they would've gotten to my application by now but it turns out that's not how you read the table and I tried to explain this to the representative but she kept telling "ma'am that's not what it means." So we have all been reading the table wrong apparently. Here's what the table is actually telling us according to the representative "on July 15 the last processed application was from feb 4" so everyone with an application days later than feb 4 has to keep waiting

We've also had reps telling users here that their EAD renewals have been mailed, when they weren't. Not sure how much stock to put in whatever the reps are being asked to tell us.

I know!! They update the table every month, so the only thing to do now is wait for 8/15 to see the new date they are on.

Unfortunately for a few others and myself, that's going to be too late. We need to hear back by mid next week. Fingers crossed at this point.

I still think we are looking at it correctly and that as of May 3st they are looking at Feb. 4th Applications. I wouldn't trust anything the representatives are saying. Every time you call they tell you something different.
