what happens to all paperwork we sent

was just curious as to what happens to all the papers and evidence that we send?
do they keep it? or send it back at the end of the whole possess?

my lawyer says they keep the original, scan one copy into computer, made more copies for review. It is theirs to keep.

Not exactly sure what happens to the actual papers, but officials do not review the actual papers... They are all scanned into the computer. That's why it's best to not use highlighters, just mark up any info by circling them. Of course, never send originals. You don't get anything back.

they keep it. that is why they said to send copies of evidence and not the originals because you wont get the originals back.

U should always make copies of what u send if u dont have the original copy and even if u do have the originals extra copies come in handy

You should never send original docs to anyone unless it is required. First thing they do is scan it in copu to keep records for lifetime and create you file # for your apps, So if you send something to them its on your record for lifetime.

Just incase if you send original evidences then ther is some kind of form to get it back.
