Rep. Daniel E. Lungren (R-CA) represents California's 3rd congressional district.

"There are many suggested approaches to dealing with the presence of that group of illegal aliens who have established roots in our communities. As I look at any proposal, I will oppose any bill brought to the floor of the House that includes what I consider to be an amnesty provision. My major concern relates to the fact that there are millions of legal immigrants who wait years in order to obtain permanent residence and citizenship. It violates both fairness and respect for the law to allow those who have entered our country illegally to “cut in the front of the line” through the adoption of an amnesty provision." http://lungren.house.gov/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=464:folsom-town-hall-qaa&catid=20:press-releases&Itemid=105

Rep. Lungren objects to any kind of bill that would give undocumented immigrants a pathway to legalization because he believes it violates fairness and respect for the law. For this very reason Rep. Lungren is most likely to vote Nay on the D.R.E.A.M. Act or any sort of comprehensive immigration bill.
