Becky Sutton is a co-sponsor of the Uniting American Families Act, she is also rated unfavorable by NumberUSA, which is a positive sign. She did not support efforts to eliminate health care subsidies for immigrants in the health care bill.
I called her DC office, and spoke to an intern who was not very informed about immigration issues. He did not know her position on the issue, but of course will pass my message along.
I would say that Congresswoman Sutton is a promising target for lobbying to become a cosponsor, and her record suggests that she would vote for the bill if it came up.
