I emalied Congressman Lance encouriging his support and am waiting on a return email.

According to Rep. Lance's official website, he opposes any amnesty to "millions of illegal immigrants because it is unfair to those who have entered our country legally and an affront to the laws that we have established governing immigration and citizenship. This includes ensuring that illegal immigrants are not covered under any federal health care reform measure" (http://lance.house.gov/immigration/). Also, Rep. Lance supports securing borders first, he voted for a law providing $10.1 billion for Customs and Border Protection. He is also a strong backer of E-verify. And he supports giving $1.5 billion for identifying and removing criminal aliens from the United States once an immigration judge has ordered them deported.

Also according to voting records, Rep. Lancer was among those who voted against the Dream Act in 2010 http://www.nclr.org/index.php/issues_and_programs/immigration/dream_act/the_dream_act_vote/. http://politics.nytimes.com/congress/votes/111/house/2/625
