Rep. Tom McClintock (R-CA) represents California's 4th Congressional District and is considered a moderate Republican by

Rep. McClintock is most likely not to vote for any type of immigration bill that would benefit undocumented immigrants. Rep. McClintock has support from ALIPAC which has extensively lobbied against giving undocumented immigrants a pathway to citizenship.

"“We support Senator Tom McClintock, based upon his strong stance against amnesty for illegal aliens, and his position on other key aspects of immigration reform. We feel confident that, once elected, he will work to exert the will of Congress to ensure that our existing immigration laws are strengthened and better enforced.”"

In addition, Rep. McClintock has continually voted to secure the border and recently opposed a bill that would give undocumented immigrants in California a state driver's license because he believed, "The only purpose of it is to place valid state identification documents in the hands of illegal immigrants undermining enforcement of immigration laws".

Rep. McClintock also believes in enforcing the current immigration laws rather than creating new ones. For these reasons Rep. McClintock is likely to vote Nay on D.R.E.A.M. Act or any comprehensive immigration bill.
