Hi- I live in Texas and am very concerned if we will still be able to renew our work permits? Is this fifth circuit decision going to affect existing daca holders?

You can try putting in an expedite request by calling uscis. If that doesn’t work, try an ombudsman request. Last resort try contacting your congressman/senator through their website.

Ps; when you enter your last i94 (if you had used AP) fid you guys put your status upon entry as NLS- that is the only option I saw( online renewal)

Yes so right after it asks you where do you live in USA, it prompts to say how long you’ve lived there.. I figured out tht it means your current address. The wording was different though than the...

You definitely can visit other countries ALONG with going to where you said you were going. I have used AP a total of 4 times and have always visited neighboring countries for either work or to see...

I believe only immediate family members can petition that. they would need a usc/lpr parent, spouse or kids over 21 that would suffer from them not being here essentially.

nope. I have gone a total of 5 times in the last 10 years that we have had it, the last being the past month. I have never had any issues.

I don’t know about others but to me personally the ability to travel has been so liberating. When I travel is the only time I feel free and able.

Just came back on advance parole. I was out of the country for 4 weeks. I had to go through customs in Dallas and had no issues. For the first time, I was not asked to go to secondary inspection....

Congratulations on getting that AP. In the past , I have always given both copies to CBP at port of entry.

Finally got approved on the 5th and received my document yesterday in the mail!
