My congressman was also republican and anti-immigration but he still helped me out and contacted uscis for me. I said I might as well give it a shot and it worked. My card is coming in today :D

Bro I contacted my local congressman and I got approved in less than 3 weeks. I think you should since our timelines are nearly identical.

My card was finally sent into production yesterday. It was a long wait but it was worth it guys. Hang in there your time will come. Good luck!!

I got approved today after 7 months!!!!! So damn happy. Hopefully I will get my card this week!

Yes!! I am the exact same way. It really gets me that other people even with criminal records got approved. I've called about 8 times and they tell me same old bullshit. They say its in"review" what...

It's complete bullshit that we have to wait this long... considering that we have clean cases. They should take priority over the applications that they received first instead of putting them off.
