I was in the same situation,never detained, but I had a court date next year but now its closed. I took my biometrics at ICE and again for the USCIS code 3, which means everything

I am not saying u do, but most of the time the only reason they wanna reopen ur case is either u have some new ways of getting permanent status in the US or if they have something negative on you,...

why are they reopening it? if it's administratively closed then you should only apply for EAD...mine wasn't closed so I applied for both...and trust me..it wasn't easy at all.....

Overstayed visa, then applied for green card through diversity visa lottery, got denied and then one year later, got letter for removal proceedings

My lawyer told me not to apply till they close my case, but I did it anyway...last week, ice closed my case and then 2 days later uscis approved my ead and daca...

From what I understand unless you are in ice detention, you cannot apply for deferred action ....but since you have a stay of removal and work permit already, I don't think you need to do anything...

It should..basically they are waiting for background check to come before they can give you deferred action and if your evidence is good, then they will approve it...the faster they get the...

NO, they won't just deny it...people that haven't sign or signed using the computer instead of using a pen, will get it returned back to them and they will have to resend it this goes for any...

NO, that means they have accepted your application and they are now processing it...basically it means all the evidence and the forms u sent were correct and there was no mistakes in it...
