If you have not filed the I-192, then they will want you to file it or file it correctly. It seems that after they receive that, they will continue your case

Yes, that basically removes any bars of inadmissibility you have in order to get a u-visa. I remember I had to file one as well. Did you not file it initially, or is it asking for more information...

Make sure you bring proof that your parents are your parents. A birth certificate or a leasing paper would be ample proof of that.
