sucks but that's the kinda of Pres. Obama is; all talk. Forget congress full of democrats; they have no balls, even with the majority in congress and senate they still act as minorities; no back bones;
but i hope at least the dream act actually gets a fair debate this fall and i hope they dont wait to make it part of a major CIR bill like they've been talking about that'll suck.
we should lobby to get the dream act as a stand alone bill; that'll probably get a better response this year.

Hi fellow dreamers, i just wanna share some thoughts with you guys. I know our cause is not as big and important as African Americans back in the civil right movement, but i can't help but related myself to these people who fought for their dreams. Martin Luther King's 'I have a dream' speech moves me every time i come across it, because I have a dream too. All I need is a pass, a pull to pursue it. Let's keep the hope alive.

This is the best year for Dream/CIR to pass. If it doesn't, it's not gonna come up in 2010 (midterm election year) or 2011 (election year). If there's nothing by 2012 (the year i get my degree) I'm out of here. I can put my good intentions to use somewhere that wants me.

I agree with you..
Let's keep the hopes alive.

Our parents didn't suffer for nothing and either are we. Hope, faith and family is what we should have and they can't take that from us...
