I can donate, I'm a citizen, and I do actually donate at election time. I don't know if many people are aware of the extent of campaigning the parties do on a national level, including directing money in the tightest races. I applaud her bravery.

And the fact that the tea party is making a big stink today is pointless - there are many issues and fads that will come up in the next two years - of course any partisan group will be attacking and praising the day after a vote on any issue. It hardly predicts what the burning points will be for voters in an election in 2o12. And it certainly doesn't indicate that the 'tea party' will be newsworthy darlings in two years after they have had their own hand at bringing down the country in the House.

I underestimated the power of the Tea Party but and they lost some of the biggest elections because the put horrible politicians up there. But the Tea party is a powerful force that can not be taken lightly they got Obama senate seat in Illinois with a Republican in a completely Democratic state. They have instituted fear in these politicians on both sides.

Having seven uncles on both sides of my family and my father serve in Vietnam the last thing you want is a draft. Spending 30 months in Iraq or two tours we lose 35% of our casualties to people not listening , people not following orders and people fucking around these are guys that signed up. In Vietnam the number was higher because you had people drafted that did not want to be there so they did not give a dam and they got killed faster than anyone. Look up on the internet on KIA reasons in Iraq it will list the name of the soldier and the way he died. You will be amazed reading through all the deaths Humvee wrecks huge killer in Iraq, Drownings huge killer in Iraq, blowing themselves up on accident huge killer, getting killed being were there not supposed to be and getting picked off. So there is no reason to have a draft there will never be enlistment has been hitting its numbers for years its a voluntary armed service.
