lol tyler129... I disagree with you. I think it would very much matter because U.S would play a big role and somehow get involve. The Chinese have a lot of interests in that country that's why they are not doing anything about the humanitarian crisis there. One question: Why does U.S automatically grants green cards to Cubans and don't send them back?

This country could never be pure capitalist though.

Economics. Anti-war libertarian. No tax increases ever. No removing tax 'exemptions'. Repeal as many taxes as possible. Kill off the New Deal, the Great Society and all those other useless welfare projects. Remove price controls everywhere. Privatize the police.

Capitalism, ho!

Keep living in a dream world. This, however awesome it sounds, could never work. Power corrupts.

And gl with a private police. Blackwater anyone?

US grants North Koreans green card as well because they're considered refugee..

look, US granting greencard to those who flee from communist country is one thing. The country that doesn't allow its citizens to travel or immigrate to other country is another. <-- at least Cuba isn't doing that.

I won't refer North Korea as communist country because there is no equal distribution of wealth but rather feudalism type of social structure where the top few people brain wash the rest to treat them god-like and takes everything..

Those mobsters existed only because of prohibitions against alcohol, prostitution, and other victimless crimes. In the absence of the de facto monopolies these mobsters quickly flop into non-existence.

But please, tell me how the current monopolized state run police works now. The current police is nothing short of corrupt racists who love all too much to give you a traffic ticket. Suppose private police do become mobsters. How would we be worse off? We'd have better dressed police if nothing else, so we'd be better off in that manner at least!

Blackwater wasn't private. Xe, its successor isn't private. It was a public-private partnership, i.e. a state chartered company, a government granted monopoly etc.

And again, it isn't like the state run 'public' monopolies are any good. How many wars has the public military fought in the past few decades? How many people have been invaded by the public sector? Iraq, Afghanistan, northern Pakistan, Somalia, Libya, central Africa, the Carribean islands, etc etc.

Privatization of everything does sound like a good idea. If no one gets greedy. Problem is greed is very real and very prevalent. There needs to be a check on power.

I do agree that there is too much government intrusion today. Government should do its best to keep its citizens safe. What defines safety? Well thats a tough question.
