It's gonna happen. It's just a matter of when, how, and the terms. So for now, send those damn renewals in.

I agree. Something (hopefully in our favor) will happen sooner or later. For now, just get those renewals in and focus on not doing anything stupid that may disqualify you from adjusting your status later on.

Biggest question now is if the budget deal will pass the House:

@ChadPergram
The longer Pelosi spks, more likely liberal Dems will dig in on DACA, unwilling to back McConnel/Schumer deal. Many Hse GOPers will vote no., They may need help from Democrats. So…this COULD put the budget deal in peril in the House.

GOP OH Rep Jordan asserts that vast numbers of Hse Freedom Caucus mbrs will oppose Senate budget deal

@heatherscope
House Dem Vice Chair Linda Sanchez on budget deal/DACA: "There is support for a DACA/Dreamer fix if the speaker would merely step up and be the speaker of the House and Representatives and not just the speaker of his caucus."

@igorbobic
Dem Caucus Chair Rep. Joe Crowley not saying whether he’ll support budget agreement. "I’ve yet to see the full deal,” he says

Anyone please correct me if I am wrong,but Pelosi is trying to extract a commitment from Ryan to bring an immigration debate to the floor (just like Schumer did with McConnell) in exchange for supporting the passage of the CIR and the 2 year budget bill, right? and at this point, it seems likely to happen since I just read that the Freedom caucus might not support this 2 year spending bill. So Ryan will need the help of Democrats to pass it in the house.
