I think I heard her say in the stream that she has one more hour to go still.
Hmm...

Where we stand:

-Leaders have agreement on huge caps increases
-Conservatives hate the deal
-Pelosi has additional demand (assurances of open amdt process for DACA bill)
-Paul Ryan hasn't agreed
-Republicans need Democratic votes to pass bill
-Shutdown??

Dems are in a better position for the shutdown blame game this time, especially if the fight's in the House and not the Senate.

No way to hide behind the filibuster, and House Dems are just looking for the same assurance McConnell gave Senate Dems.

The immigration debate could highlight a major anti-democratic issue in Congress — the refusal to allow an open process.

Paul Ryan hasn't been allowing votes on certain bills and amendment because, if he did, they might actually pass. Good luck defending that in a shutdown.

@ChadPergram

All action on the budget deal/avoiding gov't shutdown will happen on Thursday in BOTH the House & Senate, hours before the deadline. No floor action tonight. Likely Hse/Senate will press up against 11:59:59 pm et deadline to fund gov't, if not bleed into the wee hrs of Friday

@MEPFuller
There’s also an important point in here.

Paul Ryan does *not* look like he’s going to give Dems any additional assurances on an immigration bill.

So tomorrow’s 11:30 am press conference should be fun.

So this is Ryan's speakership on the line. Either he pisses off hard right members by yielding to Pelosi's demands, or he tries to pass the Senate deal without Democrats and possibly fails. That's an unfortunate position to be in ... couldn't happen to a better guy.

lol...

The House Freedom Caucus just took an official position against the budget caps deal.

That means at least 80% of its ~three-dozen members oppose it. @SahilKapur

This move means House Democrat votes will be needed. Democrats#ic leaders are NOT whipping against it Currently
