Before DACA came out, I was able to open an account with Chase by just providing my passport. I just told the banker "it's complicated" he said no problem, didn't ask any further questions and opened me an account.

To open an account with Chase, I only had to provide my ID and foreign passport. They didn't ask any question.

I only needed a school ID and ITIN to open account with Chase back in 2010. Been with them ever since, no problems whatsover
