And what does clear EWI can adjust the status except for marriage?
Getting rid of the EWI basically only lets you adjust via marriage (or as a unmarried child under 21 or parent of a US citizen). Prior violations of status, failure to maintain status, unlawful employment, etc, still prohibit you from seeking AOS via other means.

If you have an LPR or USC spouse or parent you could use the I-601A if you were to find some other sponsorship avenue like via work.

One thing I'm not sure is if it's hard to go back once you exit, I hope that's not the case.

Back to what? Back to the US?

I didn’t have any issues went I came back 5 years ago. At the airport they put me in a waiting room with other people and eventually after almost an hour they called my name. I just gave them the copies of advance parole.

They keep 1 and stamp the other one and give it back to you.

Very simple but definitely nerve wrecking being my first time.

Yeah, though in this case you will have to do consular processing abroad rather than AOS.

I just returned from Mexico using AP. How many times have you applied? And do you know if you can use the same document for more than one trip? They stamped my passport with "Paroled until 2022."
