FWIW...I sent mine in like 6 months in advance...it was approved in like 2 weeks.

Also I sent in a renewal hella early...like 1 year in advance...during Trump's crazy first term. I got it approved within a month of sending it.

So, I don't think that 150 days thing is set in stone...maybe just a general efficiency thing.

I'm thinking the same, early/mid January.

All I need is to hang in there for a bit longer, after 20 years there's a visa available through my USC parent, my lawyer is about to submit my I-601A, this takes 3 years.

This is what I am planning on doing. For me it's always been approved between 140-150days before expiration..

As USCIS has long recommended, we strongly encourage DACA recipients to submit your DACA renewal request to us between 120 and 150 days (4 to 5 months) before the expiration date located on your current Form I-797 DACA approval notice. Filing during this window reduces the risk that your current period of DACA and employment authorization will expire before you receive a decision on your renewal request. Please note that filing earlier than 150 days before your current DACA expiration date will not result in a faster decision.”

i submit all my renewals 5-6 months before expiry, and they usually processed them in 2 months, and i lose about 3-4 months each time. But you need to get it in now as Everything is Red in Washington for at least next 2 years.
