At this time I would be happy even if the legistration is as minimal as just make DACA into a lawful status w/o pathway to green card or citizenship.

What Pelosi is saying is just posturing. There was a senate deal that ready to go with everything Trump originally wanted. Then on 1/25/25, he tanked the deal.

What Pelosi said was indeed truth. Around that time there were other multiple DACA bills that were introduced. The bill that you are referring to was the Grassley plan and that’s the one you’re talking about where it had multiple pillars.

Let’s not forget that it wasn’t just one bill being introduced. There were multiple. The Coons-McCain bill, The “Common Sense” plan, and The Grassley bill.
