So many times I read on these forums that it was Trump/GOP that derailed that deal.

Dems never wanted for DACAs to take the center stage.

I truly hope Trump/GOP puts DACA back in the center stage and passes whatever legalization they can.
At this time I would be happy even if the legistration is as minimal as just make DACA into a lawful status w/o pathway to green card or citizenship.

Sounds good! Lowest hanging fruit on the immigration tree and lest controversial subgroup of immigrations.

Where are the Republicans that want to help Dreamers at on something like this? Copper, any ideas? Where they at? NOW is the time.

What a dumbass he is.

You probably think he's playing some form of 4D chess. LOL

Whenever GOP is in power, you people go "I'd be happy with anything for DACA."

Whenever Dems are in power, you go "what about our parents?! and every single undoc even those with heinous records?!"

That is why you get nothing.

What Pelosi is saying is just posturing. There was a senate deal that ready to go with everything Trump originally wanted. Then on 1/25/25, he tanked the deal.

What Pelosi said was indeed truth. Around that time there were other multiple DACA bills that were introduced. The bill that you are referring to was the Grassley plan and that’s the one you’re talking about where it had multiple pillars.

Let’s not forget that it wasn’t just one bill being introduced. There were multiple. The Coons-McCain bill, The “Common Sense” plan, and The Grassley bill.

Ok, nothing has happened for decades.
Can't trust Dems.
Certainly can't trust Republicans.

So how are you building up your Plan B? What are you doing to better your situation instead of looking backwards and complaining?
