I am still working on mine, I'll get it in about 1-2 more years. Working illegally full time really stopped me from taking more classes as much as I wanted...

Yup let's just say I got approved with no RFE's by putting US in the residency box. It really sucks making a mistake on your application but it would do no good to confuse other people into doing it...

But it doesn't ask where you are "a legal resident of" It just asks for "country of residence" which translates to where you currently resides.

Yea from what I recall USCIS didn't outright deny them but actually given them a chance to prove something (RFE).

Residency = Place where you currently live = Resident = I am a resident of this house. It wouldn't make sense to put your home country and...
