Ive tried some of those outfits like TurboTax and TaxAct online. When I did the TurboTax, they say I qualify for the EIC which is the Earned Income Tax Credit. With your W-2, it just means more money...

I just want to thank you for such a great post. Its super informative. Would you recommend that DACA applicants do their taxes through an outfit like H&R Block or Jackson Hewitt or would it be better...

Because you have a LIN, your application was sent to Nebraska. You should make a timeline on your signature. And I think at the latest, you'll receive your approval.

I didnt wait the 10 days, I really think its 7-10 days after the VALID FROM DATE on our EAD. My VALID FROM DATE was October 8th, so today was 8 days and I had no problems.

I received my EAD on the 12th and went to the SS office today. I dont believe in the 10 day wait after one received it, I think its 7-10 days after the VALID FROM DATE that one should watch out for...

Received my EAD on Friday after being approved on the 9th. Went to the SS Office today, out in less than 30 minutes and received a printout activating my already assigned SS #. Will receive new card...

Had my bio done on Sept 17th and got acceptance text on 10/9/12. Got text 10/10/12 that EAD card had been picked up by USPS to be delivered to the address they have on file for me and received EAD...

It says clearly on the USCIS website that one can be currently in school obtaining their GED and still qualify for DACA.

What if one already has a SS card but has the restriction of NOT VALID FOR EMPLOYMENT?
