I just checked and it’s actually question #1 when calculating your points! They have to provide their educational info, work experience and take the IELTS too.

Yes you can but it requires more proof of funds (to basically support you both when you first move and while you get settled in)

I think there’s also an option to select whether they will move...

Yes from what I know Canada is cheaper and perhaps faster (personally for me Australia was too far from the US)

I did in May 2017 and in my opinion it helped me get my approval 2 days before expiration (I had to wait a few add’l days to receive it in the mail) but had peace of mind seeing the approval online....
