It does take longer mine was submitted 10/13/2022 however it was approved on 1/11/2023. Usually takes a month and a half as opposed to over 2 months.

Minor point here. The bill only needs a simple majority to pass the Senate (51 votes) it needs 60 to overcome a filibuster. It's possible they get 10 Republicans to overcome filibuster and they just...

The last piece of immigration reform relevant to us was done under Reagan. Not saying he is right but he isn't completely wrong. Personally I can't think of a single issue where democrats are winning...

You would still need your work authorization you get from DACA until you receive a green card. It should take 1 to 2 years at the latest but depending on your country of origin it could take longer....

So this decade long backlog they are talking about only applies to certain people. Like h1-b workers from India and stuff. Also depends on the country. Like china India and mexico have a longer wait....

You didn't read what the parliamentarian said. She acknowledged there was a budgetary impact beyond being incidental. She claimed however that the other impacts far outweighed the budgetary impact...
