I agree, we need to get them to change the bill. But even if it was shorten to that, I doubt republicans would vote for it, why? Because they're just plain haters.

I agree with MIdreamer. I live in Tennessee and had a valid license from 2006 to 2009. I don't think you were lucky, they just issued licenses back then regardless your status.
