Man reading this thread is depressing for me (don't get me wrong i'm glad a lot of you are being renewed quickly). I sent in august and expired in december and i'm still waiting -_-

Weird that the service line did an expedite request. I got my local office too then it got denied. Also had 2 temp extension requests in that got denied due to my background check not being in....

Anybody ever get temporary ead post expiration?

I've had a service request in for an interim ead that a l2 rep put in for me about 10 days ago. It was updated today saying the request was complete and that they sent me a response in the mail.

You should be able to put a service request in now. Apparently they're processing renewals received on July 20 which would put you outside of normal processing time.

Because according to USCIS it's based on when applications are received but also on a case by case basis if that makes any sense..

Absolutely the worst. I've been waiting 4 plus months. My relative just applied late november did her biometrics early december and already got approved and hers was in Texas...I've tried everything...
