They probably will just turn a blind eye and ask no further questions. Just make sure you do not go in there with a paragraph explanation. If you decide to do it, just tell them you have a new ssn...

I did and infopass for my ead, the middle name was mispelled on the back of the card but on the front it was just the first letter which was correct nevertheless the receipt had the full middle name...

You do get tuition deductions, they allow certain ones even with an ITIN so a SSN should be no problem.

Yes the rep called me and let me know. He told me when I went in person he would check the status every 3 days and then call me when it was approved. I was pleasantly surprised.

My ead document has a date effective 9/19/12, applied for ssn on 9/28, just got a call saying it has finally been approved today 10/9 and I should be getting my card in a week. It took a lot longer...

Yes, it starts with the same letter and number as yours, they said it could take up to 15 days to hear back either by mai, email, or phone.

The only step where I can think of where they might have input my middle name wrong is at biometrics when the guy asked me if eveything in the computer was correct, i thought all that to be already...

They messed up my middle name on the actual ead and the receipt that came with it. Nothing else. Working on getting that fixed but not sure how long it will take.

I was talking about the receipt you get for approval of the case AFTER biometrics, actually I received it at the same time as I got my EAD, its the one on the nice green paper lol.

My full name on my biometrics appointment letter was correct including the full spelling of my middle name. All other notices have only had an initial for the middle name placement which was also...

When I called I was told to wait up to 15 days for uscis to contact me regarding the mistake and I clicked on the link you provided and my case doesnt fall under any of those categories, so I think...
