i was worried about the same thing. the company doing the background check called the employers i had put down and verified that i worked for them. it shouldn't be a problem.

I did it last week and it went OK. There are certain circumstances when people need to get a new ssn anyway, so they won't bug you and question you about it.

One of the requirements is that you have to prove you're out of status on 6/15/12. If your visa expires in 2015 you won't be eligible for deferred action because as of 6/15 your visa was still valid....

i've been applying for jobs like crazy over the last couple of weeks, and i've found that many companies will offer some kind of tuition reimbursement (even if it's not 100%), even the smaller ones...

yea it's happened to many on this forum. for some reason the system doesn't update until later, and the ssa has to verify your info before providing you with a ssn. i don't think there's much you can...
