When my EAD expired I continued working for about a month until it got renewed. I called USCIS at least 6 times and spoke to 6 different people and ALL of them told me that I was not breaking the law...

It's up to the discretion of the bank to approve you or not but there is no explicit rule that says you cannot get a CC because you are not a PR. I have 12 credit cards and have been asked to send in...

Unfortunately I can't because of the unlawful time accrued from 18-24 years old. If I were 18 at the time of getting DACA I would have been eligible.

My EAD expired a month ago! (9/17/14) Luckily I don't have a strict boss and they know the situation but I still want to get my renewal already. I have an infopass...

Thanks for the info, mine expired 9/17/14 and I'm still waiting. I have an infopass appointment next Friday but from the several times I've called uscis it doesn't seem like a temporary extension is...

I probably wouldn't either. Clearly they don't have any "trigger" to check on you, giving them might give them reason to put some kind of reminder or trigger to check after it expires.

On the bright side I was JUST NOW able to get an appointment (Oct 17th) via infopass to my local uscis to request an interim EAD. We'll see how that goes.

Yes I did get AP and left to Mexico. I came back with no issues but I have no clue if that might be causing the delay.
